Webinar: Crucial Conversations During the COVID-19 Pandemic Wed., April 15th, 6:00 p.m. Pacific
The COVID-19 pandemic poses post-acute and long-term care providers with unprecedented challenges. The infection has very high mortality rates in skilled nursing facility residents and the severe respiratory infection has placed great strain on hospitals around the country. PALTC providers need tools to discuss advance care planning with SNF residents and their families to ensure patients receive goal-concordant care in an ethically sound fashion. Join Dr. Sabine von Preyss-Friedman, Dr. Kevin Henning, and Dr. Laurent Adler in a moderated discussion of these issues.
