Dementia – In the US, it is estimated that over 7 million people over the age of 65 have a form of Dementia. Learning about dementia allows you to create a deeper level of compassion and understand how to best meet the needs of your residents. During this training you will not only learn about the different types of dementia, but more importantly, how to best approach residents. As these diseases progress your approach needs to change too.
