There is a growing demand for aging services and a shrinking workforce. The ability to provide quality services to seniors, in a compassionate and supportive environment, is highly dependent on a competent and dedicated workforce. LeadingAge Washington, therefore, provides scholarships for the purpose of attracting and retaining talent in the field of aging services.
Funding for the scholarship program comes from the generous support of our Community members and Business partners – These contributors value the promotion and professional development of staff who care for or have the desire to care for our seniors.

LCS Foundation: The Ed & Sue Kenny Scholarship was designed to promote the education and professional development of undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a degree in the field of senior lifestyle services. The scholarship is open to qualified students across the country. The LCS Foundation will begin accepting applications for scholarships in July. Submit by November 1, 2024 Details
