LeadingAge Washington Scholarships

There is a growing demand for aging services and a shrinking workforce. The ability to provide quality services to seniors, in a compassionate and supportive environment, is highly dependent on a competent and dedicated workforce. LeadingAge Washington provides scholarships to retain talent within the field of aging services. These scholarships are made possible by the generosity of individual members who continuously donate to a variety of fundraising initiatives, as well as member organizations that have prioritized development of the aging services workforce in Washington State.

Funding for the scholarship program comes from the generous support of our Community Members and Business Partners – These contributors value the promotion and professional development of staff who care for or have the desire to care for our seniors.

Application Process

Applications are submitted and recipients are selected after a formalized review by a committee of LeadingAge Washington staff, members and providers. Recipients will be notified in September and invited to attend the Fall Conference where they will be recognized.

The next application window will begin in Spring of 2025.
