On October 18, the department filed a preproposal notice to consider adding new sections in chapter 388-71 WAC, Home and Community Services and Programs, and chapter 388-112A WAC, Residential Long-Term Care Services Training. The intent is to require long-term care workers to complete training requirements by certain dates that would reduce the impact of clients accessing qualified long-term care workers to provide personal care services.
