Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology (CBIC) Announces New Certification for Long Term Care

CBIC will begin accepting applications for the long-term care certification in July 2022 with an initial testing period opening in September 2022.

What is the Long-Term Care Examination?

The long-term care examination is the standardized measure of the basic knowledge, skills and abilities expected of professionals working in the field of long-term care infection prevention and control. The exam is an objective, multiple-choice examination consisting of 150 questions. 135 of these questions are used to compute the score.
