We deliver on that quality, as well as providing the best Team Member experience possible! We are currently looking for a great Cook to join our team!

If you are available for 2-5 days per week between 11:30 AM – 7:00 PM, please apply. Must work Saturday.

What you will need to Succeed!

Must be 18 years of age
Has at least 6 months to 1 year of Cook experience
Able to read, write, and speak English well
Able to perform basic arithmetic calculations
Willing to work cooperatively as a member of the kitchen/dining staff team and be able to respond to verbal instructions and directions
Enjoy working with older adults and be willing to work in a fast-paced environment
Hiring is contingent upon passing a background check
Willing to fill in serving in an emergency
Able to work 2:30 PM – 7 PM
What you’ll do as our Cook

Ensure an extraordinary dining experience for our incredible Evergreen Court residents!
Prepare food items
Keep the food and beverage area organized and fully-stocked
Perform clean-up duties of the back of the house/kitchen area, including dishwashing
Be familiar with the menu for each meal to assure all items are available and to answer the residents’ questions
Be willing and able to help residents with any meal service assistance they might request or require including room deliveries
Process resident orders to ensure items are prepared properly and served promptly
Maintain a positive, outgoing and upbeat attitude throughout service and while interacting with residents and coworkers
Work special occasions as needed
Greet guests, informing them of specials and changes; answering questions and making suggestions
Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility
