LeadingAge WA joined other stakeholders to request the legislative four corners grant a longer extension of the LTC waivers.  While the four corners have continued to grant month to month extensions of these waivers, a longer fix is needed to provide flexibility and predictability. If any of the waivers were to expire, it could have devastating consequences on our workforce, potentially losing thousands of workers. Extending to February 2021 would provide the needed time to finalize the statute changes necessary to maintain current workers and develop a throughout plan for reimplementing the statutory requirements.
