The Aging and Long-Term Support Administration (ALTSA) is updating the State Plan on Aging (SPA) for 2023-2027. ALTSA needs your help distributing information about the upcoming SPA Equity Focus Groups to bring attention to the needs of older adults around equity. We need volunteers to participate in this process to address the prioritization of equity within our state planning efforts.

To help promote the focus group sessions, we developed a SPA Outreach Toolkit for partners to use in their outreach efforts. ALTSA asks you to share the information and materials in the toolkit with your networks and communities to encourage focus group participation.

Who should participate?
ALTSA is looking for older adults and their family members, caregivers, and service providers. Their voices will help provide input into the needs and concerns of older state residents, their families, and caregivers with a focus on equity, diversity, access, and inclusion.

About the SPA focus groups:
ALTSA will host three virtual focus groups on March 29th (11:00 am) and 30th (9:00 am and 6:00 pm). Please refer to page 3 of the toolkit to learn about the groups.
