Brief Description

We are currently looking for an Associate Director of Clinical Support to bring a smile and help support our residents in living to their fullest potential. The Associate Director-Clinical Support supports the Director of Resident Care and Health Services Officer in primarily four areas of focus: 1) Ensure systems are followed for the optimal quality and well-being of all Supported Living residents while assuring compliance with all Washington State Assisted Living and related regulations 2) Monitoring of Supported Living Infection Control Program 3) Overseer of Incident Management and 4) Assist in clinical support for assessments and Negotiated Service Plan development.

Requirements
What You’ll Do

In collaboration with the Supported Living Leadership Team, provides leadership to realize the vision, mission and values of Supported Living.
In collaboration with the Supported Living Leadership Team, assures regulatory compliance with all Washington State Assisted Living and related regulations.
In collaboration with Director of Resident Care, assists with completion of Pre-Admission Assessments, Comprehensive Assessments and Negotiated Service Agreements.
Monitor Supported Living Infection Control program providing regular reports to Quality Assurance Committee and collaborates with Supported Living Leadership regarding trending and staff education opportunities.
Oversees Incident Management and ensures incident reports and investigations are complete, analyzes trends and identifies opportunities for staff education.
In collaboration with Director of Resident Care, provides leadership and supervision to the Nursing Team.
Participates in quality improvement meetings and collaborative problem solving and creative program development.
Participates in Manager on Call schedule.
Practices the Health Care Philosophy and Standards of Nursing for Horizon House.
Demonstrates and actively practices the Values of Horizon House.
Secondary Job Functions:

Occasionally work the floor and lead by example.
Assists Director of Resident Care, Associated Director-Staff Support and/or Health Services Officer with investigations and employee relations issues in Supported Living.
Participates in development and may provide emergency operations and resident safety training.

Participates in Quality Assurance Committee.
Other job duties as assigned by Director of Resident Care and/or Health Services Officer.
Summary
What We’re Looking For:

Experience: Three (3) years experience in nursing leadership;
Experience in an Assisted Living environment and knowledge of applicable regulations; Experience with electronic medical records;
A proven history showing initiative

Licenses/Certificates: Active RN license and in good standing with the State of Washington

Skills: Ability to work with a diverse employee community at various cultural, language and educational levels; Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
24/7 facility requires flexibility and willingness to provide training during all shifts and weekends as needed

Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Publisher or equivalent programs

Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills; effective interpersonal skills including teamwork and problem solving

Leadership: Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
Collaboration:Achieve goals through teamwork and alliances in the broader community
