Preventing Dehydration in the Workplace

Did you know that the lack of water is the #1 trigger for daytime fatigue or that water acts as a lubricant and cushion to our joints?

Each person should drink 50 – 64 ounces of water per day, this would be about three to four regular-sized water bottles per day.  Soda and coffee taste great but they steal water from your body, limit these types of drinks through the day.

Fatigue is an avenue for potential injuries which could result in a worker’s compensation claim. To prevent fatigue from occurring, encourage your employees to drink more water!

Our joints need lubrication and cushion to help us get through our workday. Joint pain is a common symptom but can be misinterpreted as an injury. To avoid unnecessary claim filings, share the importance hydration with your employees.

Let’s stay hydrated and safe!
