Nursing homes have another opportunity to apply to participate in the Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders (NICHE) Washington State Civil Monetary Penalty (CMP) project. The NICHE Program will provide nurses and certified nursing assistants in 30 nursing homes in Washington State with specialized education and clinical leadership development training to implement evidence-based clinical practices to improve the care of older adults.
