Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has recently authorized qualified applicants to submit the COVID-19 In-Person Visitation Application for the purchase of tents to support outdoor visitation and/or clear dividers (e.g., Plexiglas or similar products) to create physical barriers to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19 during in-person visits. Funding for tents and clear dividers is also limited to $3,000 per nursing facility.  Read full letter here.

When completing the application, be sure to include any shipping and handling costs, taxes, and installation costs on the application as we can only reimburse expenses that have been approved.  The total of all costs cannot exceed $3,000 per facility.  Please review the application and the FAQs carefully prior to completing the application.
