COVID-19 Virus Activity in Long-Term Care

COVID-19 Virus Activity in Long-Term Care

DSHS has released the following charts and graphs with the most current information regarding number of long-term care facilities reporting at least one confirmed case of COVID-19.  These numbers include staff and residents.  As you can see since the beginning of September assisted living facilities and nursing homes are trending upwards while adult family homes and supported living are slightly declining.  Cases are rising in many communities around the state.  You can check the Department of Health COVID-19 risk assessment dashboard to see the current transmission rates in your county here.  The Department of Health is still asking that everyone practice social distancing, Mask wearing, and washing/sanitizing hands regularly.
