Northwest Health Response Network – District Meetings

Northwest Health Response Network – District Meetings

The Northwest Health Response Network (NWHRN) is the healthcare coalition for 15 counties in Western Washington and 25 contiguous sovereign tribal nations. The Network is comprised of hospital systems, public health, long term care, clinics, and EMS systems. The Network facilitates regionwide planning with healthcare and other emergency response organizations to establish relationships, leverage expertise and develop plans and tools. Working together with their partners, the Network has developed plans and tools to help prepare all types of healthcare facilities for their next emergency.

The Network also performs important functions in a disaster response. To ensure communities get the healthcare they need, the Network is an active partner in coordinating the COVID-19 response in Washington state— including long-term care. NWHRN holds meetings with each district, which includes hospitals, public health, EMS and long-term care providers. These meetings are a chance to hear what is happening in your district, and ways to collaborate for a unified response. More
