ALTSA Informational Webinar Regarding COVID-19

ALTSA Informational Webinar Regarding COVID-19

May 4, 2020

Dear Providers, Stakeholders, and Interested Parties,

On April 16, we hosted our first webinar to discuss what Aging and Long Term Support Administration (ALTSA) has done in response to COVID-19. Many of you have listened in on the webinar and I want to thank you for your participation.  We have compiled the questions that were asked during this webinar and provided our responses, as well as many helpful and informative links within this summary for your convenience. Please find that information here:  https://www.dshs.wa.gov/sites/default/files/ALTSA/0416%20Webinar%20QA.pdf

We are hosting a second webinar on May 14 at 11:00 am.  During this webinar, we will continue the discussion on ALTSA’s further efforts in response to COVID-19.  I will be joined by Director Bea Rector to discuss the status of action items by Home and Community Services, Director Candy Goehring will providing updates on actions taken by Residential Care Services and Director Deborah O’ Willow will provide information related to the Office of Deaf and Hard of Hearing.  We will again end with any questions you may have.  In order to accommodate as many questions as possible during the webinar and to provide timely follow up responses, we will be using a new tool to gather the questions. The link for this process is included in your registration confirmation email.

I look forward to you joining us.

ALTSA will hold a second webinar to update providers on their COVID 19 response.  May 14th – 11:00 a.m. (pacific)  Register here.

Sincerely,

Bill Moss, Assistant Secretary
