LeadingAge Washington, Washington Health Care Association, Adult Family Home Council, and Washington Society for Post-Acute LTC Medicine submitted recommendations on lifting visitations restrictions to the Governor’s office. The recommendations are largely based on the recent CMS guidance for reopening nursing homes around the country. The associations, however, call for flexibility between settings and individual facilities. We also stress the importance of providers being able to use their professional judgment when responding to the needs of their community. You can find the full letter here.
