RE: 3.4 HPRD FINE WAIVER: Q1 & Q2 2020

On March 6, 2020, CMS Announced Blanket Waivers in response to the COVID-19 Emergency Declaration. Included in these waivers is the requirement that Nursing Facilities submit staffing data to the Payroll-Based Journal (PBJ) System beginning March 1, 2020 through the end of the emergency declaration. Due to the unavailability of PBJ data during the first and second quarters of 2020, the Department will not be issuing fines related to the 3.4 HPPD requirement found in RCW 74.42.360(2) for those quarters.   Read full letter here.
