Sentinel Network – Workforce Needs Survey * Respond by Friday May 15th

There is still time to make your health workforce needs known through Washington’s Health Workforce Sentinel Network. Your ability to submit your information will close at the end of the day on Friday May 15th so please take this opportunity to let educators, policymakers, and others around the state know about your needs.

In addition to questions about workforce needs at specific facility types and occupations, we have added a short set of questions about workforce needs during the COVID-19 emergency.  We have prepared initial summaries of the responses focusing on COVID-19 challenges that were initially submitted, and we’ll update these summaries with the final information submitted by Sentinels like you.

If you have not already registered, you can register at www.wa.sentinelnetwork.org/join

Don’t miss this opportunity to let educators, policymakers, and others around the state know about occupations in high demand, recruiting difficulties, changes in staff roles and needed skills, and other details that can be used to improve the state’s health workforce resources.

You can check out findings for different facilities as well as view findings by geographic region on the Sentinel Network Dashboard.

Your information will be kept confidential by combining it with other Sentinels’ data from across the state. Washington’s Sentinel Network is a collaboration of the state’s Workforce Board and the University of Washington’s Center for Health Workforce Studies. Funding to initiate the Sentinel Network came from the Healthier Washington initiative, with ongoing support from Governor Inslee’s office and the Washington State Legislature.
