Northwest Health Response Network (NWHRN) WATrac Training

LeadingAge Washington is encouraging all Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Facilities in Western WA to sign up with Northwest Health Response Network (NWHRN) and the WATrac system.

WATrac is a web-based application serving the Washington healthcare community by providing two distinct functions:

1) daily tracking of facility status and bed availability and,

2) incident management and situational awareness during a disaster response.

Use of WATrac will help with communication between hospitals and LTC during this current COVID surge, as well as continued communication and situational awareness during impending winter weather events, or other disaster related response.  Scott Foster from NWHRN did a short demonstration for members on the clinical update call a couple of weeks ago, he is available to demonstrate this to you again if you have any questions. You will only need to state if you are open or closed to admissions, you will NOT have to report census or number of staffed beds.

NWHRN is holding WATrac Training twice a week, Tuesdays from 11am-12 pm or Fridays from 3:30-4:30pm. Link to see Training Information for Zoom link.

For more information or to sign up with NWHRN, please reach out to Scott Foster directly at Scott.Foster@nwhrn.org
