Student and Exchange Visitor Program Update Survey

Student and Exchange Visitor Program Update Survey

U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has issued updated guidance regarding to The Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP).  You can find this guidance here – https://www.ice.gov/news/releases/sevp-modifies-temporary-exemptions-nonimmigrant-students-taking-online-courses-during.

In short, this new guidance requires any foreign national in the U.S. on a student visa to be taking classes in person.  If the students school has shifted to an online format for the fall, they must depart the country, or transfer to a school with in-person instruction.

We are conducting a short survey for members to see how this will affect your organization.  If you currently have staff or volunteers at your facility that are foreign nationals and are in the United States on an F-1 or M-1 Student Visa, please take a few minutes to complete the survey here.
