Provider Relief Fund Reporting Requirements

HHS and the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has released some new information regarding the reporting requirements for providers that received payments exceeding $10,000 from the Provider Relief Fund (PRF).

Detailed reporting instructions will be released no later than August 17, 2020 and the reporting system will become available October 1, 2020.  All recipients must report within 45 days of the end of calendar year 2020 on their expenditures through December 31, 2020.  If you spent all of the funds prior to December 31, 2020, you are required to submit a single final report any time between October 1, 2020 and February 15, 2020.  If you spent any of the funds after December 31, 2020, you will need to submit two reports, the first due no later than February 15, 2021 and the second due no later than July 31, 2021.

  • October 1, 2020: Date that the reporting system will become available.
  • February 15, 2021(45 days after the end of calendar year 2020): Date by which all PRF recipients must report on their expenditures through the 2020 calendar year.

HRSA will be conducting Q&A sessions via webinar in advance of the submission deadline.  Details will follow regarding the Q&A Sessions.
