The LTC Coalition Urges Washington’s Congressional Delegation to Pass Additional Federal Relief

This week, the Long Term Care Coalition sent letters to Washington’s Congressional Delegation, urging them to quickly negotiate and pass additional COVID-19 relief funding. The coalition is asking for at least $1 Trillion in relief to state governments, and an extension of the FMAP increases. This funding is critical to prevent cuts to Washington’s long term care system.  Without federal relief, DSHS could be forced to cut up to $220 million out of their budget. You can find a copy of the letter here. We will continue to keep you updated on the coalition’s efforts and how you can get involved.
