The announcement was made today that Mike Anbesse has been appointed as the new Director of Residential Care Services replacing Candy Goehring who is retiring February 1st.  Many of you already know Mike, he has been with the Aging and Long-Term Support Administration (ALTSA) for the past nine years, with his most recent role as the Region 2 Administrator for RCS. 

We’ve not yet heard who will be named as the Region 2 Administrator but we will share that information as it becomes available.

LeadingAge Washington looks forward to working with Mike on a number of critically important issues, including a shift towards a more consultative and collaborative approach to quality assurance oversight.
