Urge the Governor to Include the DSHS Funding Priorities!

Urge the Governor to Include the DSHS Funding Priorities!

DSHS is proposing to increase Medicaid funding by nearly $550 million dollars over the next two years. With this increased funding they are looking to shore up a long-term care system that has been repeatedly neglected. The proposal includes increased rates for both skilled nursing and assisted living as well as funding to bolster the workforce for long-term care.
These funds will help long-term care facilities work their way through the current staffing crisis as well as increase the number of residents they are able to serve.
We need your help to encourage the Governor and the Office of Financial Management to include the DSHS funding priorities in the Governor’s budget proposal.
