SNF Wage Equity Draft Report

SNF Wage Equity Draft Report

DSHS has released a draft worksheet for reporting the usage of the SNF Wage Equity funds. These Wage Equity funds, provided as part of the FY23 budget, are used to increase wages of lower paid direct and indirect care staff in skilled nursing facilities. Facilities must report the usage of these wages to the department and will need to repay any unspent funds.

You can find a copy of the draft report worksheet as well as frequently asked questions, and the budget language on the DSHS website HERE.

Facilities will be required to compete and submit the reporting worksheet sometime after June 30, 2023. DSHS will announce a due date once the worksheet is finalized. To complete the worksheet, facilities will need their Washington State Vendor ID, wage data for affect direct care and indirect care job categories, hours for the job categories, and census data. The report allows facilities to know how much has been spent and if any payback is necessary.
