HCS CCRC/LPC Salary & Benefits Study Underway
February 2026 – Hospital & Healthcare Compensation Service (HCS) is calling on Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC/LPC) providers nationwide to participate in its 2026 CCRC Salary & Benefits Study. This comprehensive study gathers data on compensation and benefits trends across various CCRC staff positions, providing organizations with valuable insights to benchmark their practices and make informed decisions.
Participation is Key to a Comprehensive Report
CCRC providers are asked to complete the study’s questionnaire by April 20th. Extensions are always available to ensure everyone has ample opportunity to participate.
The CCRC Report will be published in June. There is no cost to participate. Participants may purchase the results at the reduced LeadingAge price of $190, versus the $400 nonparticipant rate. Questionnaires can be downloaded at: www.hhcsinc.com.
A separate Nursing Home Salary & Benefits Study is scheduled to begin in early March. The deadline is May 11th, with publication in July. Both Reports are published by HCS in cooperation with LeadingAge.
Benefits of Participation:
- Benchmarking: Compare your facility’s compensation package to industry norms, ensuring you offer competitive salaries and benefits.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Gain valuable insights to inform strategic talent management decisions, including salary adjustments, benefits design, and recruitment efforts.
- Stay Informed: Identify industry trends and prepare for future compensation needs.
Both studies cover salaries, bonus data, and hourly rates for over 100 positions. Compensation data is reported regionally by profit type, unit size, and revenue, as well as by state, CBSA, and nationally. The study also covers 19 fringe benefits, as well as questions on staffing metrics pertaining to retention/recruitment strategies, including shift differential pay, sign-on bonuses, turnover & vacancy rates, granted/budgeted percent increases, and trend data.
Last year’s CCRC Report contained data from 528 CCRCs and covered 90,100+ employees. The Nursing Home Report contained data from 917 nursing homes and included data from 111,600+ employees.
HCS publishes ten annual compensation studies. Nationally known, their reports are recognized as the standard for reliable, comprehensive, and affordable compensation data for healthcare. Contact Rich Cioffe at RJCioffe@hhcsinc.com, (201) 405-0075, ext. 10 with any questions.
