SNF AMS Collaborative Opportunity Begins the 3rd Week of June
The Washington State Department of Health is hosting an antibiotic stewardship collaborative specifically for skilled nursing facilities. Incentive funding is available. The goal of this collaborative is to assist facilities in progressing towards meeting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid mandates and Centers for Disease Control’s Core Elements of Antibiotic Stewardship for Nursing.
This collaborative will begin the third week of June and will last for 1 year. Future dates/times will be determined as per facility availability. Sessions will teach facilities best practices related to antimicrobial stewardship and allow for questions and answers. Medical directors, consultant pharmacists, infection preventionists, directors of nursing, and/or administrators are welcome to participate. Office hours will be held monthly by DOH experts to provide more personalized support to skilled nursing facilities. Click here to enroll and learn more: SNF AMS Collaborative Intake Survey
