ASPR TRACIE Releases Report on Post-Acute Sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 Infection

Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response Technical Resources, Assistance Center, and Information Exchange  (ASPR TRACIE) received a request for information on clinical presentation, disease progression, and related information from clinicians in the field treating COVID-19 patients after the acute phase of the virus has passed, frequently referred to as “COVID long haulers.”

This report outlines the long-term effects noted in recovered COVID-19 patients.  This information can be useful when planning care for COVID recovered residents and should be shared with all staff members so the entire IDT is aware of clinical manifestations that may occur.
