Governor Inslee has announced he will extend the statewide eviction moratorium one last time as a bridge until the programs in 5160 are implemented. The details of the extension will be released tomorrow during a press conference. However, we received confirmation from the Governor’s office that long-term care will be exempted from the extended eviction moratorium starting on June 30th. This exemption includes assisted living, nursing homes, life plan communities, and including those living independently within those settings.

Once more details are released tomorrow, we will update any new impacts to our Affordable Housing members.
