CDC has updated recommendations related to timing of COVID-19 vaccination. CDC no longer recommends delaying COVID-19 vaccination following receipt of monoclonal antibody or convalescent plasma treatments. Review these recommendations here.

Please note that this impacts staff who are subject to the CMS vaccine mandate. Providers are required to have a process for tracking and securely documenting the status of staff who are temporarily delayed in vaccination according to CDC recommendations. Staff who previously qualified as a temporary delay due to these treatments should be notified of the change to CDC recommendations and providers should work with these staff to ensure vaccination occurs.
