HUD Begins Funding Fourth Round CSPs for Capital Expenses

HUD Begins Funding Fourth Round CSPs for Capital Expenses

Late last week, HUD sent out the docusign forms to certify completion of projects approved under the fourth round of COVID-19 Supplemental Payments, or CSPs. CSPs are funded through the CARES Act to help HUD-assisted Multifamily Housing providers offset COVID-19 expenses at properties, including capital costs related to installing internet or back-up generators. After a HUD delay in getting the forms to providers for project certification, HUD reported to LeadingAge today that just under half of the forms have been returned to HUD and have received funding. If someone was expecting to receive a DocuSign file and did not, they can send an inquiry to CSPpayments@hud.gov. HUD’s 5th round CSP Notice is forthcoming.
