LeadingAge Washington-Letter to Governor Inslee, State Officials and WA State Congressional Members-LTC Vaccinations

LeadingAge WA used the results you sent us from our vaccine survey, along with the rise in daily case counts and hospitalizations to plead our case to Governor Inslee, as well as the Secretary of Health, Dr. Bob Lutz at DOH, Assistant Secretary of ALTSA, Bill Moss, and our WA State Senators, Murray, and Cantwell. Long Term Care cannot be forgotten in the push to get vaccines in the arms of Washington State citizens.  With the opening next week to all adults 16 and older, we are concerned we will experience a decreasing allocation of vaccine to long term care residents.  We will continue to highlight this need in meetings with state officials until we are assured residents and staff are getting the vaccines they need.  More
