LeadingAge Washington Futures Conversation Virtual Invitational Summit * April 27th

Invitational – As the Executive Leader of your single or multi-site community or a strategic business partner, join colleagues around the state for a virtual conversation on organizational resiliency and to examine influencing factors that may point to the future of our field.

Desired Conversation Outcomes:

  • Recognize attributes of organizational resilience in rapidly changing times
  • Engage in strategic foresight
  • Identify potential opportunities/priority paths for the future

This discussion will be presented and facilitated by Olivia Mastry, Founder, Collective Action Lab. Collective Action Lab focuses on large scale social and systems change initiatives, including senior living and care. She has been expanding this conversation on the national and state association platforms and will help us frame our thinking for the challenges and opportunities ahead.

Olivia will be joined by a Thought Leadership Panel with Kevin Anderson, President/CEO, Wesley, a large-multi-community organization providing catered living to the middle market and more; Gretchen Alkema, Vice-President Policy, SCAN Foundation, focused on policy strategy development and execution to support living well wherever one calls home; and Beth Burnham Mace, Chief Economist and Director of Outreach at the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care (NIC).

These panelists will respond to thought provoking questions and include time for Q&A, followed by deeper dive participant discussions on the impact of their comments on housing, care and services in the near-term and future and to the association. Our agenda reflects the discussions and considerations for today’s environment and thinking beyond coronavirus, navigating in this “next normal” environment and building resilience for your organizations and our association.
