Salary & Benefits Compensation Survey – To Participate Submit by May 8th

In lieu of producing a salary & benefits survey specifically for LeadingAge Washington members, we are asking that you take part in the Hospital & Healthcare Compensation Service (HCS) salary & benefits study.

LeadingAge National has partnered with Hospital & Healthcare Compensation Service (HCS) for more than twenty years to provide comprehensive salary & benefits studies to Members. 

Currently, HCS has two studies underway. The CCRC and Nursing Home Salary & Benefits Reports. Each provides an in-depth look at salaries by revenue size, unit size, profit type, state, region, and county/CBSA. The deadline to complete either the CCRC or Nursing Home survey is May 8th. The HCS website lists the deadline for the CCRC study as April 10th, but have agreed to extend the deadline to May 8th for LeadingAge Washington members. The final reports will be published in June and July, respectively.

The Reports enable you to compare your data against current marketplace rates, see projected trends, actual turnover rates, benefits granted, and more. All Reports are published annually. HCS has been providing the healthcare industry with affordable and comprehensive compensation studies for over 45 years. Their Reports have been cited as acceptable fair market value studies by the U.S. General Accountability Office (GAO).

Benefits of participating in HCS salary surveys:

  • Compare your organization vs. the market to ensure you are externally competitive.
  • Assure you are internally equitable with a more fair/consistent compensation program.
  • Steady and defendable pay levels/defensible decision-making. The results help you establish concrete data to support pay policy decisions and establish/adjust pay ranges.
  • Regular participation in salary surveys provides insight into current trends (percent increases, turnover, increased hiring). Higher participation benefits the industry as a whole; helps provide the most accurate picture of the market.
  • Reduced research time allows for more focus on consistent compensation programs. Less time analyzing data for new hires/new positions; efficiency gains in HR/Talent Acquisition leads to fairer compensation decisions based on rationale and data.
  • Survey participants receive a 50% discount on the published Report. LeadingAge members that participate receive a further discounted rate.

Please take the time to complete the questionnaire. We are hoping to see all LeadingAge Washington members participate. If LeadingAge Washington membership participation is high enough, HCS has agreed to produce a Washington specific report that would be available along with the full report.

LeadingAge members receive a discount on any reports purchased and participants receive an even larger discount.
