Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission Meeting

Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission Meeting

The Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission held an emergency business meeting today and passed a motion stating their support for a three-tier apprenticeship pathway from Home Care Aide to Nursing Assistant to Licensed Practical Nurse.  This pathway is being looked at as a grant opportunity through the CARES Act Stabilization fund, Reimagining Workforce Preparation.  There are several other funding options also available.  This work will be spearheaded by the Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board.  LeadingAge WA will continue to provide information on this pathway as it becomes available.
