ALTSA: ALF #2020-034 ALTSA: NH #2020-053 COVID-19 Proclamations Extended Until September 1, 2020

On July 30, 2020, at Governor Inslee’s request, the leadership in the Washington State Legislature extended the ending date of 26 Governor Proclamations to midnight on September 1, 2020. These proclamations include several related to Assisted Living Facilities (ALF), Adult Family Homes (AFH), Enhanced Services Facilities (ESF), Nursing Homes (NH), Certified Community Residential Service and Supports (CCRSS) and Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID). The following proclamations (related to long-term care) were extended. Not every proclamation applies to every care setting:

  • 20-29.3 Telemedicine
  • 20-32.3 Healthcare Worker Licensing
  • 20-37.3 Nurse Aide Registered Waiver (NH)
  • 20-38.3 Facilities (NH and ALF construction related waivers)
  • 20-44.2 NH Transfer or Discharge/Cohorting Residents
  • 20-52.2 An extension for several previous proclamations, including
  • 20-05 Emergency Declaration
  • 20-06, 20-10, 20-16 & 20-17 Restricting visitation at facilities and training and certification requirements in Chapter 388-112A.
  • 20-18 Suspension of licensing visits, fingerprint waiver, NH staffing waivers
