The Nursing Commission is excited to announce our new and improved licensing applications for advanced registered nurse practitioners, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nursing technicians.

We performed application usability studies with students at South Puget Sound Community College and Saint Martin’s University. We refined and finalized the applications using feedback from those sessions, Department of Health employees, and the Nursing Commission Executive Director. Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and we are looking forward to releasing the new applications on April 5, 2019.

We are notifying you now so you can prepare in advance. We will only accept old applications through May 5, 2019. Applicants who submit old versions after May 5 will be asked to resubmit using the new versions.
