May 1 Nursing Home Rates Early Inflation

May 1 Nursing Home Rates Early Inflation

Beginning May 1, nursing homes will see an increase in their Medicaid daily rates.  This is due to the early inflation factor that was specified in the supplemental budget.  The inflation factor is the difference between the March 2018 and March 2020 CPI-urban all price index.  The difference comes out to 3.43%.  You can find your new May 1 inflated rates here.  The inflation applies to your Direct Care rate as well as your Indirect Care rate.
