DSHS has been given the approval to lift the freeze on the FMAP increase and distribute the funds to all HCBS settings. LeadingAge WA has adamantly advocated for this through letters to DSHS Secretary Strange, Governor Inslee, and Legislative Leaders in Congress and here at home. DSHS will be working with us and others to develop methods to calculate and distribute the money now to all HCBS settings. This is a huge win! We will update members when we have more detailed information
