These Regional Meetings differ somewhat from the Town Hall meetings that will occur each Spring and in advance of the state Town Hall meeting to be convened in June during the Annual Conference.   Town Hall meetings are specifically geared towards gathering ideas for state and federal legislative solutions and may include the participation of national LeadingAge staff.  The format of the Town Hall meetings are also generally more proscribed to achieve certain desired outcomes.

Regional Meetings, while following the same geographic structure as the Town Hall meetings, are more loosely formatted with no particular policy objective to be learned and without necessarily the inclusion of any federal policy.  Regional meetings are focused more on local concerns and growing members’ opportunity to hear directly from LeadingAge Washington staff about policy developments, including regulatory, payment and legislative matters, impacting your organizations.  Through these conversations, we hope to learn more from each of you about other “in the field” concerns you’re experiencing throughout the year so we can timely identify and influence policy.  This is a great opportunity to more consistently network with your geographically-based peers and share your experiences to learn from and support each other.

Please join us at an upcoming Regional Meeting that is most convenient for you.
