  • Becoming a grant ready organization: Steps in the grant writing process (including many before writing begins) in a collaborative agency-wide manner
  • How to write required grant components effectively, with content focused on needs and assets inherent in elder care and aging services
  • Basic information on finding possible funders

An Introduction to Fund Raising Basics for Aging Service Providers

This session is an introductory and simple overview for those with no or very limited experience in fund raising. Part 1 provides basic ideas for inexpensive and easy-to-execute small fund raising events. These events are the “sweet spot” for novices, more than a bake sale but far less than a $250 per plate soiree.  Part 2 discusses some very basic concepts to understand before soliciting donations.
