Current Clinical Support Services
Programs we’ve built for clients — and can customize for you
These are examples of what we offer — but please don’t be limited by this list. If your team is running into roadblocks on a certain system, process, quality indicator, or quality measure, we can help.
Clinical Leadership Excellence Program
A customizable one-to-one training program for clinical orientation, role transition, or advanced development — designed specifically for Directors of Nursing Services (DNS). The program is comprised of eight 1- to 1.5-hour sessions built around the eight key systems a DNS needs to understand to successfully take on and lead in their role. An advanced version is also available for more seasoned clinical leaders who want to deepen their practice and address higher-level leadership challenges.
Clinical Systems Development
When a clinical system isn't working — whether it's a care planning process, a documentation workflow, or a quality monitoring system — we take a deep dive to understand the root cause, then develop new policies and procedures, tools, and training to address it and bring a new system into the daily clinical fold. This is hands-on, practical work done alongside your team, not handed down from a distance.
Deep Dive on Regulatory Requirements
Do you feel confident in your HSN reporting, DSHS reporting, and PBJ reporting? Many clinical teams have gaps they don't know about until a surveyor or auditor finds them. We evaluate your current practices against the actual requirements — identifying what's missing, what could be enhanced, and what steps would lead to better outcomes and reduced fines. Available for all CMS and Washington State mandatory reporting requirements relevant to your provider type.
Documentation Training
In most survey citations, lawsuits, and legal issues involving senior living providers, the documentation in the clinical record is a central factor — what staff are including or not including in their notes, and how those notes flow with the IDT process and care plan. We offer small-group training sessions on how to document effectively, efficiently, and safely — building habits that protect residents, staff, and your organization.
Post-Survey Follow-Up
Whether it's following a mock survey or an annual survey, the follow-up work required is often significant — staff education, auditing, new processes, new forms, and Plans of Correction. We can be an extra pair of hands to help create what is needed and get it done in time for a successful revisit. This service is available as a standalone engagement or as an add-on to any LeadingCare mock survey.
