Wesley Hospice Director

Wesley seeks Hospice Director to be responsible for the overall program development and direction of the hospice services. He/she is responsible for implementation of policies and procedures to meet state licensure requirements and obtaining Medicare certification for Hospice; directs employment of qualified hospice personnel; is responsible for the provision of hospice services, directly, and the delegation to and coordination of hospice personnel evaluations; establishes standards of care to comply with federal and state regulations and guidelines.

Bachelor’s Degree minimum: Minimum 5 years home care management experience; 3-5 years HH or HO management experience; Experience in Medicare-certified HHA or Hospice Agency; Prior experience with budgetary responsibilities including budget development and monitoring;Broad knowledge of hospice federal and state regulations/administration• Outstanding leadership, managerial skills; Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and appropriate assertiveness.
