Unique LPN Position – Part Time – Weekend Day Shift

Rose Villa’s In-Home Care Agency, Avencia Home Care by Rose Villa, is growing leaps and bounds, and we are adding a weekend LPN to better serve our clients.

This LPN will meet with new clients who wish to start up services on the weekend and write initial service plans. The LPN will be a resource to the Personal Care Aides serving clients, process medication order changes, and provide nursing services to clients as needed. The LPN will also be the Avencia Staffing Coordinator for the weekend. This means the LPN will answer the phone if a staff member needs to call off for any reason, like illness, and will make phone calls and send text messages to other staff members to fill open shifts. As a last resort, the LPN may need to work as a Personal Care Aide when a shift is unable to be filled.

Most Avencia clients are on the Rose Villa campus at 13505 SE River Rd, Milwaukie, so at this time, this position does not require travelling in the community. That may change as Avencia continues to grow.

Hours for the position are Saturday and Sunday, 7:30am-4:00pm. Some flexibility is desired to address urgent needs that arise toward the end of the shift.

The right person for this position will be an excellent problem-solver, very self-motivated, and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
