Job Description
$10,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment – this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment.
Responsibility, authority and 24-hour accountability for the management of resident/patient and all employees assigned to neighborhoods. Management of the neighborhood includes development and implementation of a resident/patient directed service model which integrates the concepts of choice, privacy, dignity, individuality and home like environment.
Neighborhood responsibility includes maintaining budgets, staffing levels, licensure requirements and quality management programs to implement the resident/patient directed model.
This person must be highly visible on the neighborhood at various shifts and be willing to assist with resident care as urgent need arises.
Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire
3 years in a leadership and management role in Nursing
2 years in Long Term care setting including end of life care
Preferred qualifications:
1 year experience with palliative care programs
