Avencia In Home Care by Rose Villa is seeking a part time RN to join our team!

If you’re asking yourself “what exactly is this job?” here’s a quick look:
• An essential link in our continuum of care, connecting residents in Rose Villa’s independent living community with our in-home care and clinic services when they need it
• Admits new clients, writes care plans, coordinates with client families, and provides case management services
• Provides nursing services in our on-site Clinic, such as dressing changes, inserting catheters, injections, diabetic management, etc.
• Serves as the Clinic Nurse for visiting Physicians
• Provides support for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs), including education and training

Who we need: A compassionate nurse with excellent critical thinking skills and an aptitude for self-direction and problem solving. Someone who values autonomy and choice for elders, no matter what a person’s physical or cognitive status may be.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – this is a hands-on position with a lot of resident, staff, and resident family interaction
• Detail oriented and organized
• Comfortable working in Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Prior experience working with older adults and people living with dementia is preferred

Requirements:
• Current and unencumbered Oregon RN license
• CPR certification
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• All Rose Villa employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in accordance with OAR 333-019-1010.

• This is a part time position. Wage is competitive and commensurate with experience.
