We are a network of services, products and partnerships dedicated to transforming the perception of age and enhancing the lives of older adults.  We are excited to announce our search for a full-time Regional Clinical Nurse – RN to lead, monitor and improve clinical services for our communities in the greater Seattle, Washington area.

Positions Details:

  • In partnership with the Vice President of Housing Operations and Regional Director of Operations, our Regional Clinical Nurse (RN) will establish appropriate policies, procedures and practices with nursing and administrative staff
  • Monitor/audit assigned communities for on-going compliance in State and Federal regulations and the application of accepted nursing standards of clinical practice
  • Provide and/or assist with the development and/or implementation of action plans based on trended survey data, plans of correction and quality assurance reports
  • Participate in the orientation and transitional support for Directors of Nursing (DON), and provide ongoing support for the DON and other professional nursing staff
  • Work with and make recommendations regarding ancillary providers
  • Oversee Quality Management/Safety/Risk Management programs in each community
  • Assist in the development and delivery of training and education for clinical and financial systems integration and operation
  • Will temporarily act as Director of Nursing (DON) during the absence and transition of a DON position to prepare community for new DON and to ensure there will be no break in services during the transition
  • Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

  • Three to five years of experience as a Director of Nursing/Director of Health Services or similar nurse leadership role in an Assisted Living (AL), Memory Care (MC) and Skilled Nursing (SNF) environment. Experience with managing multiple sites in senior living highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) for state assigned, in good standing
  • Demonstrated public speaking skills and ability to create tools and conduct presentations for multiple levels of staff
  • Experience in developing training programs for Administrators and Directors of Nursing
  • Demonstrated knowledge of EMR systems, specifically Point Click Care (PCC)
  • Demonstrated expertise in Minimum Data Set (MDS) processes and procedures
  • Deep knowledge of Washington state licensure and regulations
  • Thorough understanding of all clinical State and Federal compliance areas as well as financial impact: nursing, therapy, pharmacy, social services, activities, administration and accounting
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time throughout the region
