POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Strategist is responsible for setting specific objectives to develop a cohesive and profitable marketing strategy in order to reach maximum market share for the CRISTA Senior Living’s Life Plan Communities. The Marketing Strategist is responsible for communicating and execution campaign deliverables for annual and win-back campaigns across multimedia platforms reaching the CSL demographic through highly targeted campaigns and efficient marketing campaigns.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ensure key goals & objectives of the CSL Marketing campaign are delivered through identified channels ensuring maximum reach and frequency is achieved to achieve market share.
Assist the Director of Sales and Marketing with the annual ongoing SWOT and Campaign analysis.
Project Management: Manage brand presences through multi-channel marketing including, but not limited to, print, digital, radio and other non-traditional mediums along with maintaining content marketing calendar, working collaboratively with DOS&M and Creative Studio to achieve market share.
Editorial Responsibilities: Manage and execute editorial components of weekly blogs, social media, E-blasts and other design elements with focus on achieving SEO goals.
Public Relations Responsibilities: Strategize and execute as CSL opportunities arise, highlighting the unique selling points of our communities.
Digital Campaign Responsibilities: Strategize and execute SEO, SEM, including E-blasts, and social strategies as identified.
Design Responsibilities: Support and create internal marketing collateral to support operations with programming as needed.
Best Practices: Keep the CSL brand relevant through trending market channels.
Liaise with internal teams such as Creative Studio and CSL Operations to ensure brand consistency.
Assist with monthly dashboard and reporting.
Work collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers, seniors, vendors and customers.
Perform other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
CHRIST CENTERED Profession that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. Agreement and support of CRISTA’s Doctrinal Statement.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, business or related field from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent. Relevant work experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
EXPERIENCE
Two years of proven work experience as a marketing strategist or marketing manager.
Proven understanding of consumer behavior and buying cycles for senior housing and health care.
With marketing campaigns and web technologies (e.g. online tools and social media).
In web design.
SOFTWARE / EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE
Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Adobe Photoshop, SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, Asana, or other project management software.
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
Knowledge and sensitivity to issues in aging.
Excellent communication skills.

EXPERIENCE
Retirement and continuing care communities experience. Knowledge of regulatory issues in this environment
