We are seeking an On-Call LPN to help cover shifts in our Assisted Living and/or Memory Care communities. Successful candidates will have excellent leadership and communication skills, a commitment to providing quality patient care and be familiar with Point Click Care.

Position Summary:
Ensure quality of life and care for all residents in assigned area. Participates in assessment, problem-solving, and decision-making in conjunction with the interdisciplinary team. Administers prescribed medications and treatments to residents in assigned area. Supervises Nursing Assistants. Completes assigned documentation. Assumes charge responsibilities during all emergency situations that occur while on duty.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out the assigned duties and resident care policies established by The Kenney.
Assess the resident’s condition to ensure safety, health and wellness.
Review and update resident care plans.
Complete skilled and alert charting per policy.
Complete the admission and discharge processing.
Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration, storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
Document and administer medications and treatments. Maintain medical treatment documentation.
Communicate with health care teams by responding to requests, building rapport and participating in team problem solving methodology.
Review CNA care directives and resident documentation
Requirements:

A Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
A current unencumbered LPN license, in the State of Washington.
Current CPR, Modified Fundamentals of Caregiving, Mental Health and Dementia Training Certifications.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
Current knowledge of indications, contraindications, effects, and adverse reactions of all medications
Maintains continuing education requirements to perform job
Demonstrated ability to lead aids as part of a team
