Approximately a 2 ½ hour flight from Seattle, SEARHC is the healthcare system of hospitals, clinics and long term care services to various communities throughout the scenic Inner Passage of Alaska. What the Job is
We seek a committed and passionate Long Term Care professional. Our full time RN opening is in Sitka, Alaska. Partner with our healthcare team to support the care and assessment of patients and residents. Enhance their healthcare needs and lifestyles with the appropriate plan care: monitor, assess and direct resident care. At times this position may take on the role of “charge nurse” for the long term care unit.

Who You Are
Must love long term care and being a source of support to residents and their families. Enjoys being a part of a community like Sitka. Must be a hometown, rural enthusiast – not a big city, urban guy or gal. A minimum of at least one (1) to two (2) years of nursing experience in this specialty required. Must have a Bachelor’s degree in nursing or Associate degree in nursing or Diploma in nursing. Rn License in Alaska or able to obtain our state licensure; Current BLS certification; able to operate/monitor with equipment such as AED; Able to work with resident data on systems; Comfortable with resident management techniques to de-escalate resident/patient/visitor/peer situations. Commission Corp Officers meet billet description requirements for a 0-2 to 0-3.
